Another must! Located in a lively street (though spotting it can be a challenge as there is no sign on the door), this place is run by a chef of Puerto Rican and Chinese heritage. The daily-changing menu surprises and delights—think taco dumplings, wagyu, and the most insane brussel sprouts you’ll ever try (even if you never liked brussel sprouts, we promise you will love these!).

What sets Mod Kaew apart is their extensive and exceptional selection of wine. The owners started in Bangkok as wine exporters and slowly began specialising in natural wines. This is something that was (and is still) very new to the city, so they decided to open their own bar: Mod Kaew. The place got so popular and won so many awards that they expanded to a bigger location - today’s Mod Kaew’s Restaurant in Sathon.

The restaurant is very fun to go at night and on the weekends, the vibe is on with a DJ sharing a bit of disco vibes.
