TRAVEL GUIDES
OUR GUIDE TO PROVENCE
We weren't quite sure how to tackle this guide since the regions of Provence and Côte d'Azur intertwine, and there are so many spots worth recommending, especially in specific cities like Marseille.
So, this on will focus on what's really around Provence. It's a region that we have had the chance to visit on various occasions, often to see friends in places like Saint-Rémy-de-Provence or around the Verdon.
Last summer, we went on a little road trip from the north of Spain to Saint-Tropez. We took the opportunity to pass through different places, visiting friends and also spending a night in Arles for the photography festival (read more below). It's a road trip that we highly recommend, as it allows you to discover the many treasures of this vast region.
From the fragrant lavender fields to the charming markets offering fresh produce and artisanal goods, Provence is idyllic. Less flashy than the Côte d’Azur, the interior region of Provence is picturesque, with beautiful landscapes and mediterranean cuisine, making it a destination that you can explore again and again in so many different ways.

Hotel Present is perfect for a one-night stay, located in a charming central square in Arles. The rooms are each uniquely decorated with vintage furniture, each featuring a curated personal library and a private wine bar—very retro. The highlight of the hotel is the rooftop, designed like the interior of a pool. We visited it before dinner and enjoyed some fantastic cocktails. During our stay, there was even an invitation for a book signing by an artist. Cool and at a great price!
